Ninh Thuận Travel: Check-In at 15 Surprising Destinations That Are Stunning Beyond Imagination
Mũi Dinh
Along the DT701 road from Cà Ná to Phan Rang, you'll pass through a breathtaking coastal route, with Mũi Dinh being a perfect spot for camping. To reach Mũi Dinh from the main road, you need to cross a 2 km sandy desert, which can be quite exhausting. However, the beautiful beach scenery will make you forget all your fatigue.
In the past, Mũi Dinh was deserted and lacked services, but now it has more amenities like food stalls, freshwater bathing, and off-road vehicles for dune driving. All you need is to bring a tent to sleep on the beach and fully experience the beauty this place offers. The clear blue sea and the magnificent scenery from the lighthouse will captivate anyone visiting Mũi Dinh for the first time.
Vĩnh Hy Bay
Following Provincial Road 702, you'll drive through scenic and winding mountain roads that sometimes bring you so close to the sea you can almost touch the waves, while other times they lead you deep into the rugged cliffs and mountains. Occasionally, you'll be delighted to see coastal villages, vast white salt fields, and then Vĩnh Hy appears like a watercolor painting, drawing you in with its charm from afar.
When visiting Vĩnh Hy, besides taking a glass-bottom boat to explore the coral reefs, you can enjoy swimming at Bà Điên Beach, diving, tasting fresh seafood at floating restaurants, or experiencing adventure sports like surfing.
Hang Rái (Rái Cave)
From Phan Rang City, follow the coastal road from Ninh Chữ to Tri Thủy Bridge, then turn right and continue along Provincial Road 702 for about 35 km to the northeast of Ninh Thuận, and you will reach Hang Rái in Thái An Village, Vĩnh Hải Commune, Ninh Hải District.
Hang Rái is being "awakened" as more and more tourists make sure to stop by during their Ninh Thuận travel itinerary. Especially during the rough sea season from November to March, it’s an ideal time to visit and a great opportunity to capture unique and beautiful photos of the waves and the lush green moss covering the ancient coral reefs.
Ninh Chữ Beach
Ninh Chữ Beach, located in Bình Sơn Village, Khánh Hải Town, Ninh Thuận Province, is renowned as one of the most beautiful and pristine beaches in Central Vietnam. With its stunning landscape and potential as a tourist destination, Ninh Chữ Beach attracts visitors from all over to explore, enjoy, and relax. The beach stretches 10 km with a gently curving shoreline, clear blue water, fine white sand, fresh air, and year-round gentle waves... making it perfect for activities like swimming, windsurfing, and fishing.
Hòn Đỏ (Red Island)
From the city center, head towards Vĩnh Hy for about 20 km, then continue walking along a soft golden sandy path for about 20 minutes, and you'll arrive at Hòn Đỏ. Located in Thanh Hải Commune, Ninh Hải District, Hòn Đỏ stands out along the coast with its vast green casuarina forest. The entire scenic area is formed from a coral foundation, containing traces of ancient cultures. The coral reefs, sharp and jagged like spikes, emerge from the white sand. The only life on these coral rocks are giant cacti or lush green moss clinging to the cracks. Thus, after passing through the casuarina forest, you’ll step onto a soft layer of moss.
Fishing and camping overnight are the most exciting activities not to be missed when you visit Hòn Đỏ. Additionally, you can watch locals harvesting fish or seaweed and discover countless unique local products that are hard to find elsewhere, such as the specialty of purple onions and solo garlic from the fishing villages of Mỹ Hiệp and Mỹ Phong.
Bình Tiên Beach
Bình Tiên Beach is located 30 km from Phan Rang–Tháp Chàm City towards the North-South direction and 70 km from Nha Trang City towards the South-North direction. Starting from Phan Rang, follow National Highway 1A to kilometer marker 1,525, where you'll see a small asphalt road leading about 10 km to Bình Tiên Beach, revealing a pristine, peaceful, and serene beach right before your eyes.
Bàu Trúc Pottery Village
Bàu Trúc Pottery Village, located in Quarter 7, Phước Dân Town, Ninh Phước District, lies along National Highway 1A, about 10 km south of Phan Rang City. It is considered the oldest pottery village in Southeast Asia and has been listed among the 12 intangible cultural heritage sites of the nation.
